After a cancer diagnosis, people navigate both hard-fought victories and stories of pain and loss in their journeys. Learning how to be a careful observer of both beauty and sorrow in literature and art, and then writing about the experience can help you reflect on the stories that shape your own journey.

Join Sharsheret and Kathy Riley, Cancer Support Community’s Associate Director of Programs, who is herself a long-time pediatric oncology caregiver and advocate, for a
60- minute Narrative Medicine workshop. Engaging in this Narrative Storytelling exercise may help you connect more deeply to your own story and the stories of others on a
similar path.

All you need to participate is a pen and paper.

*Please note: This program is tailored for our West Coast community.
East Coast night owls are welcome to join.

This program is for adults in treatment, survivorship, or those at increased risk.
